Penta Career Center’s Esthetician Program provides hands-on training, professional experience, and industry-focused instruction to prepare students for licensure and success in the skincare industry. This 600-hour, 37-week evening program, approved by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board, prepares students to sit for the state licensure exam and begin a rewarding career as a licensed Esthetician.
Program Schedule:
600 Hours
Monday–Thursday | 4:00–8:00 p.m.
Two Saturdays per month | 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Rolling Enrollment & Start Dates
This program offers rolling enrollment, allowing students to begin the Esthetician Program at multiple points throughout the year. Choose the cohort start date that best fits your schedule and career goals.

Career Preparation & Licensure
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for licensure as an Esthetician through the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board, opening doors to employment in salons, spas, wellness centers, and related skincare settings.
Enrollment Requirements
To enroll, students must:
- Complete online registration and submit the $500 non-refundable registration fee. This fee covers your student kit and books and is separate from and not applied toward tuition.
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Provide an unexpired Driver’s License or State ID
- Submit proof of high school completion (High School Diploma, official transcript, or HSE/GED transcript)

Tuition & Payment Options
- Tuition must be paid in full before state testing
- Payment plans must be selected at the time of registration:
- Monthly Plan: 6 payments of $1,000
- Bi-Monthly Plan: 12 payments of $500
Important Note: This program is not eligible for financial aid. Students must secure all funding before enrolling.
Program Expectations
- Students must provide their own scrubs (plain black top and black pants) to be worn daily for class and lab
- Shoes must be solid black with rubber soles
- Adherence to all safety, dress code, and attendance policies is required
- Students must complete all required hours, coursework, and evaluations with a minimum score of 75%
- Tuition must be paid in full before state testing.
